The last mode, Lockdown, basically works as a King of the Hill mode in which you have to stay inside a moving zone while avoiding attacks from your opponents. The third mode, Switch, changes your team’s vehicles to more powerful ones the longer team members manage to avoid crashes. The team whose timer reaches zero first loses the match. In the first, Overdrive, you simply have to use your boost for the longest time possible while in Countdown your team has to pass through time gates that add to your team’s timer. There are several modes that change the way of earning points. Every racer’s score adds to the team’s overall score and the one who has the highest after a certain amount of time wins the match. Yes, you read that right, ONRUSH puts you in a team of six against another team. Instead of earning the highest score by finishing first, you have to score points by completing different kinds of objectives with your team. ONRUSH is not your typical arcade racing game like Ridge Racer or Motorstorm are. Codemasters has noticed this too and decided to bring the arcade racing experience back to gaming. However they removed that combo thing in dio to "balanced" the game now but they didn't remove the otto technique. If you’re a fan of racing games, you’ve probably noticed that the last couple of years most of these have been more geared towards realism and simulation than arcade or over-the-top action. Its the same with otto technique it can neutralized you but you can counter it. You know spamming basic attack + up in dio can be counter by charging their mana then let themselves be hit by their opponent. does it mean this current gc is still unbalanced? or what? did they just ignored that? So if you're telling me that before was unbalanced then why didn't they removed the otto technique now huh?. but how about the otto technique wherein you can spam your basic attack, it still exist in this current gc. because only a skilled player can do that.Īnd you're telling me because of that, the game was unbalanced. for me that is very challenging to face an opponent who can do that. what im trying to say is its normal for that to happen before because other character can spam their own combo to neutralized their enemy in PVP. you just need to be quick to counter or avoid that to happen.Īlso in other characters like jin which you can spam falling sky can do that too. Back then the passive that can interrupt the movement and position of the enemy exist in other characters too. Besides did you played the old gc? coz you sound like a newbie, no offense. Who said onrush is advisable to use in pvp? lmao only an idiot will do that. Obviously Onrush in pvp is not useful because there are no gigantic enemies with massive life to stick Dio's spear where the sun doesn't hit them Punishing him just for existing isn't exactly fun for the punished player. This combo even had an exploit that allows players to perform skills in the air, so there were those who used the techniques to interrupt the movement and position themselves better to punish you even worse.Īnd by the way, the fact that you mention that this combo even allowed you to retain an already neutralized opponent indefinitely until he counters or leaves the game only shows how badly balanced was or is. You know why? Because you only needed to press "up" key to gain frames of invulnerability and it was also an auto-aim attack. Lol, the weapon force basic combo is as cancerous as the onrush itself. Not to brag but back in the day i used to spam basic attack + up which the enemy cant fall to the ground, the only way for them is to quit the match. Im used to PVP using Dio's combo skills in weapon force. Originally posted by Seiji:well to those people that says that some players just use Dio for onrush.
